Tea and Crumpets With the Lady Knights

The Lady Knights of St. Francis will be having a tea for the women of the Parish on September 8, 2019 in the St. Francis room from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. Our guest speaker for the afternoon will be Father Ed Shea, OFM.
TOPIC—Long Have I Waited: Jesus’ Close Encounters with Women in the Bible
The Biblical stories of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ reveal a clear and unambiguous preference for the role of women disciples in the four Gospels. This Talk invites us to look again at some of the many moments of divine intimacy with women in the earthly life of Jesus and beyond.
