The Teen Mission Group Achieves Their Goal

This year, Council 11092 partnered with the Teen Mission Group to raise funds for their mission trip.  This group spends one week of their summer vacation working to help those less fortunate than us.

Council 11092 worked alongside the teens in putting on Lenten Fish Frys, and the teens also participated in numerous fundraising activities during the year.  Council leadership decided to donate 100% of the profits from this year’s Fish Fry activities to the teen group;  two checks totaling $1,388.66 were donated to the teens.  Along with the other fundraising that they did, almost the entire cost of the trip will be covered.  Here is Steve Arthur and Ron Longino presenting the checks to the teens:

The group will be working in the Mishawaka, IN area to help clean up flood damage during June.

Patty Wirth, who leads the group, wanted to extend her thanks and the thanks of all of the teen group parents for the generosity of the Council.

Thanks go out to all Knights who helped out with the Fish Frys.  Your hard work paid off and is appreciated!
