Yesterday, several Brother Knights were out at Waterleaf to offer a helping hand. Waterleaf is a woman’s care center, offering support and resources to expectant mothers considering abortion. They operate across from Planned Parenthood in Aurora and offer women hope and help in having their baby.
They requested some help with landscaping tasks, and 11092 answered the call. Thanks to Al Kobylar for organizing the event, and thanks to Brian Heller, Ron Longino, Bruce Kulik, Mike Dolan, Tom Piasecki and everyone else who came out to support a worthy organization. Here is a shot of some of our members hard at work!
