Council 11092 Lends Support to the Bolingbrook Police

On Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 pm, the Knights of Columbus Council 11092 led a half hour of prayer at the Bolingbrook Police Station for our Police who protect and defend us. Besides the 5 Sir Knights who formed an honor guard and gave a sword salute to Police Chief Michael Rompa and several of his officers, there were at least 20 additional Knights and St. Francis parishioners who prayed for the Bolingbrook Police. Police Chief Michael Rompa gave a short talk to those present after the Rosary ended, thanking all those present for the prayers that were “more meaningful to the Police Officers than you know.”

Thanks to all who attended to make this a successful event! Our police know that the Knights of Columbus support their mission; this tangible manifestation was greatly appreciated.
